Teeth Crowns

Teeth crowns is one of the tools that is used in restorative dentistry. Teeth crowns are normally placed over the remaining prepared part of a damaged tooth and is glued to it to give the tooth a better aesthetic appearance.

There are various materials in making teeth crowns. These materials are the following . . .

- Gold Alloy is the first material used in producing teeth crowns. This is the toughest in the field. There are two colors to choose from – white and gold.
- Porcelain with metal
- Porcelain for the front teeth. These teeth crowns look so like the real thing
- And the last is ceramic. They appear like porcelain tooth crowns but they are bonded to give is more strength
When a tooth has suffered from decay and are being worn out for the worse for wear, or has broken, teeth crowns are what dentists apply to fix the problem. These teeth crowns are fabricated in a dental lab. The main reason for this is to restore the remaining part of the original teeth as strong as it used to be.
The fact is that there are a lot of people who have teeth crowns applied to help develop their confidence whenever they smile and to refurbish their teeth. However, there are a number of dentists who actually do not believe in this procedural solution for the main reason that whenever a dentist applies a teeth crown, they will actually have to grind off a part of the original tooth so that the teeth crowns can fit in perfectly.
The tricky part comes when there is just a small amount of original teeth present as the cosmetic dentist will have to insert a rod in the canal of the roots of the tooth, glue it in place and finally top everything with the teeth crown.

One was filled with amalgam but the other was really deep and it needed tooth removal. Well, all of the process was done very carefully by our trustworthy dentist Redondo Beach. Now I visit him regularly for the checkups to be aware of my dental health.
